“Oh be careful little heart who trust.”

A Part of an old sunday school type song That is very popular indeed.
I learned it when I was three.
Many times, my heart sunk to my knees.

Oh Heart, Will you ever learn?
If only it was so easy to ignore these yerns.

When will you grow past this.
You are hurting yourself miss.
You are drinking posion sealed as a kiss.

Following the footsteps that you knew were wrong.
You knew this for so long.

You ran away just to be gone.
Many many times of example from dusk and dawn.
This something you surely wished was foregone.

No you relive this everyday rather every second, every moment.
This is your atonement.
For the sins that lay dorment.

You were innocent but it seems not to matter.
Deep in your mind and heart it is forever splattered.
Sometimes the past shows up to you on a disgusting platter.

Oh heart, When will you learn?
If only it was so easy to ignore these yerns.

When will you grow past this.
You are hurting yourself miss.
You are drinking posion sealed as a kiss.

Following the footsteps that you knew were wrong.
You knew this for so long.

You feel lighting flashes and fireworks deep inside.
You think you do not have hide.
Yet you cant just leave it behind.

A fire lights within you.
It does not matter what you do.
For it is written inside of you.

The disfunction you were taught.
The same crap that you always frought.
Has yet again got you caught.
A rememy for this simply cannot be brought.

More innocents burn.
As you take your turn.
So, not repeating same cycles should be your concern.

It may not feel like much fun.
Becoming undone.
Breaking the chains to avold a rerun.

Oh Heart, Will you ever learn?
If only it was so easy to ignore these yerns.

When will you grow past this.
You are hurting yourself miss.
You are drinking posion sealed as a kiss.

Following the footsteps that you knew were wrong.
You knew this for so long.
