Can you imagine

“However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived” — the things God has prepared for those who love him”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭2:9‬ ‭NIV‬‬
We cannot imagine all that God has in store for us, both in this life and for eternity. He will create a new heaven and a new earth (Isaiah 65:17; Revelation 21:1), and we will live with him forever. Until then, his Holy Spirit comforts and guides us. Knowing the wonderful and eternal future that awaits us gives us hope and courage to press on in this life, to endure hardship, and to avoid giving in to temptation. This world is not all there is. The best is yet to come.(Tyndall Study Bible)
“See, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind.”
Isaiah 65:17
Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea.”
Revelation 21:1
For those who love him. Love in this context means the Greek word agape, which means “value and prize above all other things.” Put these words in that scripture above. In my opinion, it takes on more significance or understanding.
Love as I said before is an action it’s not just a feeling. When commanded to love we are called to action. We are to do something. Then as the scripture promises, many things will happen.
My Question is why don’t more people subscribe to the principles taught in the Bible. The only thing I can think of is because it’s not tangible. We can’t touch and feel it. Further the results are not always instant. After taking the step of salvation, the two things I have experienced is Love and Peace. It has been priceless. Something I would not change for the world.
Read the promises of scripture again; these are events in the future and when you decide to love God, you will experience Love and Peace right now; the journey is incredible. If this is the result now, I can’t start imaging the rewards in the future. We can’t even rely on the description of fellow humans because nobody has been there yet. What we can experience is salvation, the first element and like I said its amazing. The later is going to be far greater. I can say this because I have experienced it first hand, have you?
So my plea to you is, just Love God.
Lord, I pray for all to take this step, to Love You. Amen.”

  1. Amen 🙂 I really relate to this post. At one point in my life I wasn’t allowing God to truly be a part of it and let Him help me. Present day, I have a much stronger relationship with Him now than I did during that time. He is always there for us and He has proven to me time and time again that He’s always there and as long as I keep reaching out my hand to Him, He will always hold it. I try to keep things in my life as simple as possible and it’s funny how once we get real with ourselves and God just how much peace that will bring into our lives. Thanks for the great post! 🙂
