Pursuit of Right Path

“If you do not change direction, you may end up where you are heading”

― Gautama Buddha

This quote by Buddha can be interpreted in different ways but it ignites the thought in my mind that ‘am I on the right path?’

We don’t really have free will until we are an adult because we do not possess the understanding until that age to make our own choices. And by then the choices that are made for us already set us on a course that gives limited freedom in the choices to be made. But the pursuit of the right path still continues for many.

Some people just follow the path of least resistance and keep going with the flow and some take a little risk according to their capacity and understanding.

It’s all well and good to look back after the fact and see what we should have done, but we rarely know what path is best when we take that first step. But there is a direct correlation between the results and the number of experiments one performs, So I guess it’s not too bad to try.

The path to our destination is not always a straight one. We go down the wrong road, we get lost, we turn back. Maybe it doesn’t matter which road we take, Maybe what matters is that we should choose a road.

When your footsteps and thoughts carry you down the same path your heart and soul are directing you, you will know without a doubt that you are headed in the right direction.”  ~  Molly Friedenfeld
