Being angry keeps you from being happy.

“For every minute you remain angry, you give up sixty seconds of peace of mind.”

Ralph Waldo Emerson

Release your anger or dig two graves.

“You will not be punished for your anger, you will be punished by your anger.”

Take a step back from the situation. Be the observer and find the power to let go. Let go of the anger and be free.

the irony of being angry is that the more we suppress it the more we become angry. As kids we are taught that anger is not good and should be controlled and so we learn to suppress it. But no-one is teaching kids how to deal with anger. And actually it’s very simple – if we let someone (or ourselves) to be angry just for a few minutes the loading of this emotion will diminish by itself.
